About The Position

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Strategic Policy Analyst to support DoD missions at USCENTCOM Headquarters in Tampa, Florida. This role plays a key part in strategic and operational planning efforts across the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR), supporting senior military and civilian leadership.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clearance – Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Writing Sample Required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working at a major command, combatant command, or service-level headquarters (USCENTCOM experience preferred).
  • Ability to rapidly synthesize discussion inputs into strategic documents (e.g., talking points, information papers, planning documents).
  • Experience developing briefing materials and strategic communications for senior DoD leadership.
  • Familiarity with key national security documents: National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, National Military Strategy, Unified Command Plan.
  • Proficient research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-range objectives and strategic plans by identifying internal and external issues that impact growth and profitability.
  • Scan the environment for business opportunities, maintain market surveillance, and perform financial analysis of acquisition candidates.
  • Monitor profitability, productivity, and growth targets; prepare acquisition proposals and recommend strategic objectives and alternatives.
  • Implement and maintain strategic and operational plans, including coordination of business reviews, resource allocations, and organizational structures.
  • Conduct high-level analysis on strategic and operational issues related to USCENTCOM.
  • Maintain awareness of regional issues impacting national and military strategy within the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Support analysis of national-level policies and present briefings on capabilities, operations, and requirements to military and government agencies, including VIP audiences.
  • Cultivate relationships to support planning and synchronization with USCENTCOM partner military and civilian organizations.
