About The Position

The Corporate Planning Manager will establish and lead the newly formed Corporate Planning Department at Denyo Manufacturing Corporation. This role is pivotal in enhancing corporate governance, optimizing business processes, and ensuring compliance with J-SOX regulations and ISO standards. The manager will translate strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across the organization and effective execution of strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA or an advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in corporate or strategic planning within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record in team management and organizational development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA, especially in financial analysis or strategic planning.
  • Experience with Production Management Systems, Accounting Systems, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create the Corporate Planning Department from the ground up, defining roles, responsibilities, and workflows.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies for strategic planning, financial analysis, and performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure effective cost management across the organization.
  • Develop strategies to monitor and control costs, optimizing resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational and business unit performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews, identify trends, and deliver insightful reports to senior management.
  • Establish and implement robust corporate governance standards.
  • Develop processes and policies to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess organization-wide responsibilities and propose initiatives to improve efficiency.
  • Drive the review and automation of business processes to enhance productivity.
  • Assess current IT infrastructure, including Production Management and Accounting Systems.
  • Develop strategies that align IT investments with future business needs and priorities.
  • Identify legal and regulatory risks specific to the manufacturing industry.
  • Develop and support strategies to manage risks and resolve legal issues, ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with all business units to promote interdepartmental coordination.
  • Communicate strategic initiatives, goals, and performance insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Work with senior management to analyze company-wide challenges and opportunities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of growth, financial, and operational strategies.
