Develop and Implement strategies to achieve organizational goals in support of sales of Daikin’s commercial and residential HVAC products. Support M&A opportunities and support Daikin’s West Division Sales team in sales strategy, corporate strategy implementation and business development activities. Build relationship with Strategic partners and act as liaison between Daikin West division and corporate functions. Proactively conduct comprehensive Business and Data Analysis to uncover strategic opportunities for Business Development and expansion and Profitability enhancement, to achieve budgeted financial targets. Drive cross-functional stakeholder alignment between Division Sales, Division Sales Planning and Corporate HQ to achieve Company and Divisional strategic goals. Support Sales team to develop Division’s Customer-wise and Product-wise Revenue-Volume based Budget and Forecast, thereby improving the sales forecast accuracy and elevating the company-wide supply chain efficiencies. Conduct Budget vs. Actual analysis, identify gaps and collaborate with Sales team to strategize recovery to achieve budget, including Dealer development and other such key strategic initiatives. Utilize knowledge of Financial Modeling, Python, Tableau, Microsoft Office, VBA, MS Project, C, SQL, Alteryx, Qualtrics, Six Sigma Lean Methodology, Google Analytics to support Transformative Strategy development through the implementation of Digital Tools which aid in the visualization of mission-critical and highly confidential data. Collaborate with cross functions teams where there is a need for digital transformation and focus on automation of data tabulation and visualization tools and innovation at a rapid pace. Support the adoption of Salesforce CRM and other ERP software in the Division. Identify M&A opportunities in line with Business goals, conduct Business Case due-diligence and support deal execution. Ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and budget reporting with Corporate Sales Planning team. Work on building strategic partnerships that align with the company’s Strategic objectives. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and create action plans to optimize sales performance. Formulate long-term and short-term sales strategies aligned with business objectives, including identifying target markets and defining key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct research and analysis to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, allowing Daikin to adapt its approach accordingly. Prepare forecasts and set targets based on market data and historical sales performance. Work closely with finance and operations teams to establish budgets and allocate resources effectively. Track and evaluate performance against established KPIs and goals. Implement corrective actions and strategic initiatives to improve results when necessary. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align strategies with broader business goals. Lead and coach teams to achieve individual and team objectives. Provide training and development programs to enhance skills and improve performance. Play a key role in the company’s overall strategic planning process by contributing insights and recommendations based on sales data and market analysis.
