Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Strategic Planning Intern located in our Salt Lake City, Utah site. Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager, the student will be responsible for maintaining materials/purchasing data, supply data and information to other production departments, assisting with coordination of contracts, maintaining Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and creating and maintaining outsources parts schedules.

Requirements

  • Senior student pursuing degree in Supply Chain or Procurement
  • Data Analytics experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly collaborative, analytical and excellent communication skills
  • Available to start May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for a 10-12 week Summer assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university (undergrad program)
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Supply Chain/Procurement internship experience, a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Collects, compiles, analyzes and presents various types of data and assists in the preparation of recommendations to management based on the analysis of data
  • Prepares summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on analysis of data from multiple sources and assists with data audits and identifies and escalates potential issues related to metrics
  • Suggests process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities
  • Tracks materials, financial performance, and initiates corrective actions when required
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
