VTG is seeking Strategic Planning & Integration (SP&I) Engineers for two openings, one in Denver, Colorado, and another in New Mexico. The role involves providing comprehensive support to the MS&O lead in the conceptualization, development, execution, and maintenance of strategic guidance, policy, and related planning documents. This includes the creation of strategic plans and master plans, all of which must be reviewed and approved by the MS&O Chief of Staff or their designee. The SP&I Engineer will assist with various administrative duties related to Program Status Reviews and Quarterly Program Reviews, ensuring that all activities align with the strategic priorities of MS&O. In addition to administrative support, the SP&I Engineer will be responsible for data collection and analysis related to the Integrated Planning Roadmap (IPR). The role requires collaboration with government entities to develop and facilitate leadership and management strategic planning off-sites, as well as related working groups and action teams necessary for effective strategic planning. The engineer will provide guidance on roles and responsibilities, and make recommendations for effective strategies and objectives. The position also involves supporting future MS&O operational system planning efforts, which includes developing and delivering a comprehensive MS&O Strategic Roadmap. This roadmap will focus on the early identification and resolution of technical and facilities issues associated with system requirements, interface, CONOPS, architectures, mission impact, acquisition, and overall design. The SP&I Engineer will support MS&O leadership and staff members, ensuring that all activities are integrated with MS&O's strategic priorities. Furthermore, the engineer will support NRO-level resilience efforts, coordinate with the Resilience Integrated Planning Office (RIPO), and participate in NRO planning and wargaming efforts to ensure that MS&O equities are represented. Attendance at SP&I meetings is required, along with the development of necessary documents and schedules to support strategic planning activities. The engineer will assist in drafting, coordinating, and disseminating MS&O strategic communications, as well as coordinating and drafting MS&O Tracking Information and Enterprise Response (TIER) tasks and responses. The role also includes supporting stakeholders in comprehensive program reviews, coordinating with government and industry organizations to identify and validate current and future technology and mission thrusts, and assisting in the formulation of future strategies. The SP&I Engineer will support the execution and planning of ADF-SW infrastructure projects, which encompass various facilities and infrastructure improvements. Active coordination and participation from all entities at the Mission Ground Stations and HQ teams are essential for success in this role, particularly in the context of NRO/MS&O Facilities Master Planning efforts.
