The internet is at a crossroads. As generative AI transforms how information is consumed, the relationship between content creators, publishers, and the infrastructure that supports them is being rewritten. Cloudflare sits at the center of this shift. We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Director to lead our strategy at the intersection of Content, Publishers, and AI. This is a high-impact, visionary role focused on defining Cloudflare’s position as the essential toolkit for the "AI-Native" internet. You will be responsible for creating the messaging, tools, and experiences that empower publishers to regain transparency, control, and monetization in a world of LLMs and automated crawlers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing, with a heavy emphasis on Product Marketing, Strategy, or Growth within the SaaS, Media, or AI sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the AI landscape: You aren't just a user of AI; you understand the tension between LLM training and intellectual property.
  • Executive Presence: Proven ability to host roundtable dinners for C-suite leaders and speak at major industry events like CES or Cannes.
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to turn raw survey data and interviews into a coherent persona and segmentation strategy.
  • Storytelling Flair: You can take complex infrastructure concepts and turn them into a compelling narrative about the "future of the internet."

Responsibilities

  • Lead the charge in helping the world’s most influential content owners navigate the transition from a search-first to an AI-first ecosystem.
  • Develop the core value proposition for Cloudflare’s AI products, specifically anchored in the "Three Cs": Control (over bot access), Compensation (fair value for data), and Credit (proper attribution).
  • Lead deep-dive research into the challenges facing premium publishers, using those insights to influence both marketing campaigns and the product roadmap.
  • Oversee the creation of high-fidelity collateral—from technical 1-sheeters and web experiences to social-first "sizzle" content that cuts through the noise.
  • Represent Cloudflare at the world’s most influential stages (Davos, SXSW, Cannes) to advocate for the protection and growth of human-generated content.
  • Define the ICP and understand shift in traffic/revenue patterns for content owners.
  • Build the foundational "Messaging House" and external sales enablement.
  • Align the product roadmap with evolving customer needs.
  • Build a high-touch pipeline to engage leadership at major media/content brands.
