About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and curious Strategic Logistics Intern to join our team. This internship provides students and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to real-world logistics and supply chain projects. The intern will learn how to develop and write SOPs and SOWs, contract management and negotiation fundamentals, critical thinking and problem-solving in a logistics environment, how to build business cases and use Power BI for analytics and reporting, how to prepare and present presentations to cross-functional teams and various levels of management, and logistics integration strategies, change management principles, and broader logistics industry insights. Requirements

  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop a tracking system for all logistics providers, including contract types and amendments where needed.
  • Incorporate KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and revise scalable Statements of Work (SOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and internal policies.
  • Support the creation, evaluation, and analysis of a U.S. domestic ground transportation RFP.
  • Assist with vendor assessments and contract negotiations for providers supporting approximately $80–$100M in annual spend.
  • Assist with implementing, measuring, and tracking logistics integration for newly acquired entities by utilizing and optimizing the existing integration playbook.
