Link's 12-week paid summer internship program is designed to help students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of commercial and industrial real estate. We offer internships in 15 departments including Capital Markets, Construction, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, IT, Leasing, Property Management, Marketing and more. Link is looking for actively enrolled graduate student who would be interested in building innovative analytics software products Link and the real estate industry alike. The role will support both production-phase software development and experimental idea generation, collaborating with designers, data scientists, executive stakeholders, and various internal user audiences to prioritize needs and test proofs of concepts. This is a unique opportunity for a bold and forward-thinking product talent to drive real applied innovation at a company with Link's scale and data ambitions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a graduate-level degree with a specialization in real estate development or investment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • 4+ Years experience in Product Management related roles as either a Product Manager or Technical Startup Co-founder.
  • A track record of successfully shipping software products for users in the real estate industry.
  • A diverse portfolio of software project work (including hackathons, student projects, or personal projects) that demonstrates a track record of collaborating across disciplines to experiment with a range technologies + Experience with AI software development practices and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive team speed and focus in situations of high ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated fluency in lean startup, sprint, and human-centered design methods.
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate investment analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining, scoping, and prioritizing features for analytics tools that support investment decisions.
  • Support a rigorous testing and feedback regime with users across Link, especially those on the investment team.
  • Work closely with designers, data scientists, internal and external engineers, and technology teams to translate business needs into elegant software.
  • Support the integration of market, asset, and financial data into analytics platforms, ensuring usability and accuracy.
  • Help coordinate development timelines, sprints, and product roadmaps using Agile methodologies.
  • Gather feedback from investment teams to refine product features and improve user experience.
  • Create clear product documentation, requirements, and progress reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Use a range of software tools to create low fidelity prototypes to bring ideas to life and put them in front of users.
  • Analyze, demo, and vet potential AI tools for analytics, research, workflow automation, and knowledge assistance, such as Hebbia, Glean, Matterfact, Writer, and Alpha-Sense.
  • Attend general Link internship programming to connect across the company and learn about the industry.

Benefits

  • $50/hour represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
