About The Position

As we scale, our finance team is building a sophisticated foundation for M&A, capital markets, and strategic analysis. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in financial modeling, research, and valuation in the cutting-edge industry of energy and infrastructure. As a Strategic Finance Summer Intern, you will support our finance team by conducting market research, tracking industry peers, and analyzing financial data. Your work will directly contribute to key investment and financing decisions while providing you with exposure to the complexities of a high-growth business.

Requirements

• Undergraduate student ideally Sophomore or Junior.
• Coursework in accounting, economics, or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update our peer watchlist, tracking potential strategic targets and industry trends.
• Gather and analyze financial and operational comps across the bitcoin, data center, and energy sectors.
• Update financial models based on discussions with bankers regarding equity raises, convertibles, and other financings.
• Summarize analyst reports, earnings calls, and thought leadership pieces to distill key takeaways.
• Develop and present an M&A thesis on a relevant company in our space, assessing valuation, synergies, and strategic rationale.
