About The Position

Cosi-Care is on a mission to support people living with skin conditions by creating innovative, comforting solutions. We're looking for a talented Strategic Finance Analyst to join our team. You’ll join the Finance team and help turn raw operational and financial data into clear, structured decision-making. This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting leadership on forecasting, manufacturing economics, pricing/margins, and capital planning as we scale. This role is a great fit for someone who wants real exposure to startup finance, manufacturing/unit economics, and executive-level decision support—while building strong foundational FP&A skills.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, banking, operations analytics, or similar
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfortable building structured models from scratch
  • Solid analytical fundamentals (you can translate messy inputs into clear drivers and assumptions)
  • Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable working with imperfect data
  • A self-starter with a high-ownership mindset; you follow through and improve what you touch
  • Interested in startups and gaining real operational exposure

Nice To Haves

  • Background in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or another quantitative field
  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost structures (labor/overhead, absorption, yield/scrap, freight, tariffs)
  • Exposure to hardware and/or SaaS unit economics (COGS, margins, contribution, CAC/LTV)
  • Basic SQL or BI tooling experience (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for dashboarding

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a rolling 3-year forecast (P&L, cash flow, and key operating drivers)
  • Develop scenario models to support manufacturing scale decisions (capacity, volumes, cost curve, timelines)
  • Model tool transfer vs. reinvestment economics and related payback/ROI
  • Analyze bill of materials (BOM) changes and cost sensitivity across suppliers and components
  • Evaluate margin impact across product lines and sales channels
  • Support pricing, promotions, and bundling analyses (unit economics and contribution margin)
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs with insights and variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast)
  • Support board and investor reporting (metrics, narratives, and financial highlights)
  • Build and improve KPI dashboards across: Revenue, gross margin, contribution margin CAC, LTV (as applicable), retention/cohorts (as applicable) Inventory turns, working capital, and cash runway
  • Build detailed cost models comparing U.S. vs. overseas production options
  • Analyze labor, overhead absorption, freight, duties/tariffs, and scale efficiencies
  • Model inventory requirements and working capital implications of different supply plans
  • Identify and evaluate grant/incentive opportunities tied to manufacturing and capex
  • Support cash flow planning and runway management; highlight key risk drivers and levers
  • Assist with equity/debt modeling and preparation of materials for lenders and investors
  • Support analysis of intercompany economics between UK and US entities (e.g., royalty/intercompany assumptions), working alongside external tax/legal advisors as appropriate
  • Assist with bookkeeping oversight and data reconciliation to ensure clean inputs for modeling
  • Support month-end close processes (tie-outs, variance checks, and documentation)
  • Help maintain reliable source-of-truth data for reporting and decision-making

Benefits

  • Be part of a growing, mission-driven brand that’s changing the way people manage skin conditions.
  • Direct exposure to executive-level strategic decisions and operating tradeoffs
  • Ownership of core models that influence pricing, margins, capex, and growth planning
  • Deep understanding of startup finance and manufacturing economics (a rare combo)
  • High learning velocity in a pivotal growth stage environment
