About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, the Strategic Finance Analyst will serve as a key thought partner to FP&A and business leadership across departments. The role will support FP&A in developing forecast drivers, conduct deep-dive analysis across the business — including payments performance — and collaborate closely with the Data Analytics professional to deliver intuitive dashboards and performance reporting. The successful candidate will go beyond surface-level metrics to provide clear insights into what happened, why it happened, and what actions the business should take as a result. This is not a traditional reporting role; it is a strategic, insight-driven position focused on influencing decisions and improving business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience analyzing large data sets.
  • 3+ years of experience in an analyst role.
  • Financial modeling experience that includes communicating with key stakeholders.
  • Proactive thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Possess a strong sense of intellectual curiosity; motivated to examine and understand the fundamental drivers of problems, bring them to the forefront of discussion, and drive change.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of SQL in order to mine data.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, automate analysis, and improve decision support while maintaining strong analytical rigor and data integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of payment methods & processes as well as the payments industry - is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Payments and Transactional Revenue Reconciliations (volume and rate reconciliations).
  • Monitor Revenue and Payments/Transactions trends, investigate anomalies and provide teams with insights.
  • Provide proactive guidance on impacts to the business
  • Provide analysis on new initiatives, ie R.O.I. modeling and modeling the success of the initiatives once they are implemented.
  • Refine and enhance efficiency and effectiveness of dashboards.
  • Identify anomalies/data integrity issues.
  • KPI reporting, ad hoc data analysis, and project related financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with other departments including Accounting, Sales, Product, Engineering and RevOps.
