About The Position

Join Cambia's dedicated team of Financial Analysts as a Strategic Finance Analyst or Senior, where you will serve as a trusted finance business partner. Your role will involve providing financial guidance and support, building budgets, forecasts, conducting variance analysis and reporting, and preparing financial analyses such as cost-benefit and return on investment for new business opportunities. You will support cost savings and process improvement efforts, providing financial governance and oversight to create an economically sustainable health care system. This position will have a mix of traditional financial planning and budgeting (FP&A) and business case analysis work, supporting the Clinical Services area within the Health Care Services division. You will also be involved in the Cost Stewardship program, driving claims savings initiatives to make healthcare affordable for members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, or statistics.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or ASA preferred.
  • Health insurance experience preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience for Strategic Finance Analyst; 7-9 years for Senior Analyst.
  • Demonstrated success with decision-making and effective communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting (FP&A).
  • Knowledge of business principles, theories, and concepts across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly effective presentations to groups or teams.
  • Develop financial models and analysis using advanced analytical techniques and complex financial systems.
