As an internal consulting partner and early champion for AI, you’ll help us chart the course for our omni-channel future, blending financial rigor with the speed of artificial intelligence. You will partner with teams across the business to help turn complex data into decisive action, ultimately helping Huckberry grow our topline and optimize our bottom line. This role is based out of our headquarters in Austin, TX; relocation support will be provided to a remote hire

Requirements

1–3 years in finance, analytics, consulting, or a related field. You have a solid foundation in 3 Statement Financial Modeling and analytics. A background in e-commerce, retail, or consumer-facing brands is a plus
AI Fluency: You have an emerging expertise and genuine interest in using LLMs (like Claude) to work smarter, automate repetitive tasks, and synthesize data. Some experience with Claude Code, SQL or Python is also a plus
Growth Mindset: You are highly curious, eager to learn, and excited to step outside the bounds of traditional FP&A
Collaborative: You enjoy working across different departments and are comfortable communicating complex financial concepts to non-finance partners

Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Planning: Assist in maintaining the company’s operating model, projected P&L, and cash flow reporting
Support the annual budgeting process and help prepare quarterly materials for our Board of Directors and investors
AI Innovation & Automation: Apply your emerging expertise in LLMs (like Claude) to accelerate data cleaning, dashboard creation, and research
Help automate both traditional financial reporting and cross-functional analysis to increase our "speed-to-insight."
Internal Consulting & Biz-Ops: Support cross-functional projects and operational improvements across the company
Dig into the numbers to uncover the "why" behind product performance, inventory planning, and marketing spend, translating raw data into actionable insights for leadership
