As a Strategic Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be instrumental in identifying and shaping new opportunities within Teleport’s most strategic customers and high-value prospects. This role is not about volume, but about depth — you’ll dive into accounts, uncover the problems that matter most, and team with Account Executives and Account Managers to build targeted strategies that resonate with market-leading companies.

  • Generate and qualify strategic opportunities within market-leading accounts.
  • Build pipeline in partnership with Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Engage executives and engineers to uncover problems Teleport solves.
  • Contribute insights to refine account strategies, messaging, and go-to-market plays.
  • Curiosity to dig deep and uncover key company objectives and pain points.
  • Critical thinking to align business goals with technical challenges.
  • Strong research and prospecting skills to engage market-leading companies.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Effective communication skills with both internal partners (AEs, AMs, cross-functional teams) and external customer stakeholders (Engineers, Executives).
  • Experience collaborating with technical personas — SE’s, R&D, TAM’s, or Technical Founders.
  • Experience in structured discovery, problem framing, and market research.
