About The Position

The Strategic Employee Relations Consultant will work in a hybrid role, primarily remote but also at the Texas Health facility in Arlington, Texas. This position is integral to fostering a team-based environment and involves special project opportunities for career growth, ongoing training, and development. The consultant will act as an impactful change agent, working directly with employees and managers to enhance core engagement and improve processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field required.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field preferred.
  • 6 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years of HR experience in healthcare and 3 years of employee relations experience required.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other nationally recognized Human Resources certification required within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Strategic Employee Relations Consultant focusing on solutions and utilizing analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Partner with all levels of the organization as an employee relations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for training, performance management, workforce planning, conflict resolution, change management, and grievance processes.
  • Act as a project manager on major strategic HR projects assigned by executive management.
  • Collaborate on programs for process improvements and maintenance of ongoing programs such as Policy, Reductions In Force (RIFs), and Engagement.
  • Design, build, and implement new and sustainable HR programs and infrastructure.
  • Create change management programs and plans that support strategic corporate objectives.
  • Generate strategic insights to influence all levels of the organization.
  • Drive alignment among stakeholders with disparate views and agendas.
  • Display excellent coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Conduct high-level investigations and strategic performance management processes.
  • Research, create, and conduct training for Human Resources, Leaders, and employees in Employee Relations.
  • Manage and participate in strategic initiatives related to People & Culture Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Projects.
