This position works Monday- Friday, standard daylight hours. This is a hybrid position with remote work flexibility. 1 day required on-site per week (US Steel Tower). Purpose: Develop and execute content optimization and item master strategies for supply chain management end users across multiple levels of consumption within the healthcare delivery model. Shape the strategy, standards, and governance for delivering content management solutions including item master, contract catalog, and eMarketplace. The position requires well-developed analytical skills and an ability to comprehend and manipulate large data sets in a detail oriented, fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • One of the following combinations of education and experience is required: o Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent and 2 years related experience in Supply Chain, Content Management, Item Master, Inventory Management, Finance, or related field is required o Associates degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent and 4 years related experience in Supply Chain, Content Management, Item Master, Inventory Management, Finance, or related field is required o High School diploma and 6 years related experience in Supply Chain, Content
  • Management, Item Master, Inventory Management, Finance, or related field is required
  • Strong internship experience to be considered.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (formulas, pivot tables, vlookup, etc.).
  • Capability to gather, manipulate, and summarize data sets logically to assist in recommendations.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, capable of tracking multiple communication strings, and follows-up in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude for attention to detail, deadlines, and metrics.
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communication, analysis, and problem solving.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions to follow issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment with minimal direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Access) and ability to write and execute queries (SQL, Access) preferred.
  • Experience working with complex ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS/WMS, SAP, or other ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with Sourcing, Demand Planning, and other customers to ensure the Content Management Team is delivering value for the business.
  • Assists in ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Execute item related data processes and procedures necessary for adding, deleting, and modifying items.
  • Manage the item master record set and other related datasets that integrate with PeopleSoft for purchasing, inventory management, and PAR management.
  • Manage the Content Team mailbox in a timely manner to process requests.
  • Design, deliver, and maintain content management solutions for business teams.
  • Conduct advanced searches and analyze data to identify content and keyword ideas according to determined strategies.
  • Champion organization wide knowledge sharing.
  • Track performance on defined SLAs for the team and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Develop and document procedures for use in training and retraining opportunities.
  • Understand, embrace, and participate in major business objectives, company vision, and core values.
  • Recommend operational processing and systems improvements/enhancements.
  • Perform bulk load of item and contract changes and resolve any issues from the upload.
  • Project work delivering content management solutions that focus on taking data and information and making it accessible in a content management system. Assess, recommend, and implement improvements to our content management space.
