Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Deal Specialist for the Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage with AWS customers on strategic opportunities, driving growth and establishing AWS as their key cloud technology provider. As a Deal Specialist, you will partner with AWS Service teams to develop commercial business models that inspire and influence AWS customers, field sales executives, and other internal stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to empower customers to address their business challenges and develop innovative solutions that leverage AWS services. In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for creating actionable strategies, shaping opportunities, and leading large, complex, or highly competitive deal engagements through negotiations and closure. You will own alignment with C-level executives, IT teams, and multiple lines of business to achieve desired business outcomes, increase the adoption of AWS services, and enable private pricing, go-to-market strategies, and other strategic relationships. Your expertise will be critical in advising and constructing commercial deal terms, understanding the competitive landscape, and providing deal guidance to ensure successful outcomes. As a trusted advisor and thought leader, you will partner in the execution of the deal sales cycle for strategic commercial opportunities. You will work closely with AWS Service teams to understand services and pricing, creating frameworks that impact customer outcomes. Your role will also involve facilitating effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and encourage productive interactions, while cultivating best practices through analysis and reporting to support continuous improvements.
