Equal Rights Advocates (ERA) is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit organization that fights for gender justice. For more than 50 years, ERA has led the country in protecting and expanding economic and educational access and opportunities for women, girls, and gender-expansive people. Through litigation, policy advocacy, and public education, our work advances gender, racial, and economic equity. ERA’s Communications Internship program is designed to help social-justice minded, creative, and social media-savvy undergraduate students gain knowledge and experience in pursuit of a career in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, social media, and content creation. We are seeking to host two Communications Interns in the Summer 2026 (June - August).
