About The Position
CG Life, a marketing agency, partners with life science and biopharma organizations that are looking to reach and transform care for people living with rare and hard-to-treat diseases. We are a team of experienced "locals" that's comprised of scientists, creatives, and marketers with a shared passion for translating science into brand experiences. We are looking for an aspiring marketing professional to join our Strategic Communications Group (SCG) as a summer intern working closely with the Social Media and Public Relations team. Through this opportunity, you will gain essential skills, hands-on experience, and mentorship in social media and public relations. You'll be involved in real tasks, attend team meetings, and gain proficiency within the department, along with a strong understanding of how our agency operates.
Requirements
- Aspiring marketers with an interest in life science, biopharma, and/or healthcare marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and contribute creatively to projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support with social media monitoring for client accounts.
- Assist with gathering social media analytics on performance metrics.
- Scheduling content and drafting posts on various platforms.
- Assist with media list creation and news monitoring.
- Conduct competitive analysis for public relations team members.
- Support with pitch letter creation and press release writing.
