About The Position

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. The Strategic Collection lead is responsible for directing the full life-cycle of intelligence (Intel) collection, serving as the primary subject matter expert on all internal collection workflows. A core function of the role is to partner with internal and cross-functional (xFN) stakeholders to translate their requirements into precise, actionable collection plans, ensuring the strategic leveraging of the best-suited methods. This includes maintaining organized and process-oriented operations to effectively prioritize and manage intelligence and cross-functional (xFN) requests. In this role you will co-own all third-party (3P) vendor relationships, defining external intelligence requirements and maintaining rigorous oversight of all deliverables. Furthermore, this role drives the development of new collection programs from inception through delivery, often requiring novel dissemination methods for existing and new stakeholders. Success requires leading strategic integration and partnerships across Collection, Analysis, and Investigations teams to ensure effective, timely intelligence delivery across the organization.
