About The Position

The Strategic Client Executive is a key strategic account management role responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with senior‑level executives (primarily Sr. VP and above) within an assigned client portfolio of up to five accounts. This position partners closely with the Partner Executive and Industry Strategist to build robust account strategies aligned with industry direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5 years of account management experience.
  • Experience working with executive‑level leaders within Fortune 1000 organizations.
  • Experience growing service-based offerings.
  • Demonstrated success using collaboration to build influence.
  • Ability to deliver thought leadership during customer engagements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to offer creative ideas and solutions.
  • Proven ability to build, nurture, and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Ricoh offerings or ability to quickly become proficient.
  • Solid understanding of the solution design process.
  • Technology‑savvy and comfortable leveraging digital tools.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand relationships with Sr. VP–level executives.
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients’ business challenges and goals through effective engagement.
  • Lead the business planning process with clients, with a focus on strategic account-level planning.
  • Build a 12–18‑month account roadmap aligned with the broader industry strategy.
  • Drive profitable growth within assigned accounts through meaningful client engagements, contract retention and expansion, and new service opportunities.
  • Proactively engage and align sales, operations, and SME resources to support client initiatives.
  • Bring thought leadership to client interactions and use collaboration to build trust, confidence, and influence.
  • Clearly articulate Ricoh’s industry position and value proposition to clients.
  • Build strong internal relationships to support account retention and expansion while managing day‑to‑day sales activities.
  • Understand and navigate customers’ approval processes through key sponsors.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track all sales data and activities daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
