About The Position

As a Strategic Buyer for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role in developing the purchasing strategy across various commodities and executing that strategy through high-impact contract negotiations, lead commercial activities, and ensure supply chain competitiveness, compliance, and resilience. Requirements

  • Associate degree with 4+ years of experience in purchasing, OR Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in purchasing, OR Master’s degree, OR JD/PhD, OR 6+ years of experience in purchasing in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and category management to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
  • Taking a significant role in crafting commodity strategies
  • Building relationships with suppliers
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives and risk mitigation plans to ensure commercial resilience.
  • Collaborate across business functions to align procurement strategy with organizational priorities.
  • Support ongoing process improvement and best practice sharing across the global network.
