About The Position

With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and technological excellence, Submer is paving the way for the future of data center infrastructure. We are looking for an individual to join our team in North America and play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving partnerships with server and silicon vendors (our Strategic Technical Partners) and identifying synergies for long-term engagements. Your primary objective will be to work with these manufacturers building the right relations, identify strategic long-term activities, and be an expert on technology integration with them to create trust and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Strong knowledge of the datacenter, server, networking and silicon market landscape in North America.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, business development and/or account management, within the IT hardware or data center industry.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with long-term planning and vision, skills on analysis and observation, risk management, and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on and results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy targeted towards server, component and silicon manufacturers with HQs in North America.
  • Identify and prospect potential Ecosystem partners, establish contact, and build strong relationships.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify key industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities in order to effectively position Submer's solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, R&D, marketing, and sales to develop customized proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of our Strategic Technical Partners.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with Strategic Technical partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the senior management team on market trends, business development activities, and progress towards sales targets.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent Submer and promote our solutions.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in data center technologies, industry standards, and emerging trends to continually enhance knowledge and expertise in the field.
