About The Position

The Strategic Business Consultant at Ricoh is responsible for establishing and expanding strategic relationships with dealer ownership and executive management. This role focuses on influencing the adoption of Ricoh's value-added approach in the market, differentiating and growing Ricoh's business share and revenue with major dealers. The consultant will lead joint planning processes, develop strategic business plans, and conduct significant onsite interactions to drive Ricoh initiatives in partnership with dealer business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or Marketing; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of selling and/or sales operations experience, with a minimum of 8+ years in a customer channel/alliance environment.
  • Proven experience in business improvement planning and strategy consulting.
  • Strong selling and presentation skills, with knowledge of software solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in managing visual communications, CRM, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • MCSE, DCIA+, Security+, PDI+ certifications.
  • Proven ability to sell software, solutions, and services with a focus on value add.
  • Experience in complex engagements involving negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and expand strategic relationships with dealer ownership and executive management.
  • Influence a solutions-oriented approach to differentiate and grow Ricoh's business share and revenue.
  • Lead joint planning processes and develop detailed strategic business plans with senior dealer executives.
  • Conduct dealer negotiations, joint business planning, sales meetings, and customer account calls.
  • Monitor dealer business viability and manage Ricoh's interests in the market, including channel conflict and contractual compliance.
  • Achieve assigned gross profit targets and market share objectives by effectively selling Ricoh portfolio offerings.
  • Lead customer-facing interactions with dealers, including account presentations and proposals.
  • Demonstrate and promote Ricoh hardware and software solutions to influence dealer sales strategies.
  • Ensure dealer compliance with Ricoh's aftermarket sales requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and coordinate Ricoh resources to meet dealer requirements.
