The Strategic Alliance Manager role at HP Inc. is designed for individuals looking to transition from internship to a full-time position. This role focuses on conducting competitive analysis, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting product launches while collaborating with marketing and product teams. The position also involves managing obsolescence, pricing strategies, and maintaining communication with sales forces and customers to enhance the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in conducting regional competitive analysis to gather insights into pricing strategies, promotions, and go-to-market activities of competitors, to inform PSS life cycle strategies.
  • Supports in monitoring regional inventory levels to ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet customer demands.
  • Helps in execution of product/service/solution launches working closely with the regional marketing and product teams.
  • Participates in activities related to the obsolescence and end-of-life management of PSS, including inventory disposition and discontinuation planning.
  • Supports the execution and analysis of product/service/solution price promotions and discounting strategies.
  • Assists in facilitating communication with regional sales forces, customers, and partners to support the acceleration of the sales process.
  • Supports voice of the customer representation by gathering and sharing insights on customer needs and preferences.
  • Applies foundational principles and contributes proactively to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments.
  • Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.

Requirements

  • Four-year Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in product marketing, product design, or a related field.
