About The Position
The internship is a 10-week rotational program designed to recruit talented, emerging investors and help them develop their overall market knowledge and research skills with a focus on manager due diligence. The internship will be composed of the following elements: Exposure to investing across different markets and selecting best in class portfolio managers and strategies across Fixed Income, US Equity, International Equity, and Alternative Investments. Interns will be asked to creatively evaluate portfolio managers, through analysis of a fund’s team, track record, quantitative risk factors, portfolio characteristics, and underlying holdings. Opportunity to present analysis and recommendations to senior members of SAI’s investment team. Frequent opportunities to participate in meetings with Fidelity and external portfolio managers. Mentorship and networking opportunities with SAI PMs, Research Analysts, and senior leaders. Training & Mentorship emphasis on hands-on training from Research Analysts directly related to intern projects. Opportunity for training in conjunction with investment interns in Equity, High Income, Fixed Income, and Strategic Advisers investment divisions at Fidelity. Mentorship from senior research analysts and associates. Exposure to Portfolio Managers and investment thought leaders.
