About The Position

Microsoft's Enterprise Account Team focuses on empowering customers on their digital journey. This team is responsible for envisioning new possibilities for our customers, delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft. As a Strategic Enterprise Account Technology Strategist, you will have the opportunity to design and drive digital technology initiatives in partnership with your customers, both supporting your customers' desired business outcomes and achieving Microsoft's business objectives. Paired with an Enterprise Account Executive, leveraging your large, multi-functional v-team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio and the vast catalog of Microsoft Partner offerings, you will build and grow your network of technology executives within your customers and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customers adopt and embrace digital technologies. With a proven history of innovating technical solutions to achieve customers' business objectives and achieving account growth targets, this role will give you the opportunity to combine your technology and industry knowledge to deliver digital solutions to accelerate your customers' digital vision and to ultimately become their technology mentor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience.
  • 3+ years experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes.
  • 2+ years experience in business consulting, consultative selling, or change management.
  • 3+ years experience leading technical, support, and/or partner teams.
  • 5+ years industry experience in oil and gas or asset-intensive industries.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • 9+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize and combine various business and industry insights to conduct forecasting and develop recommendations for managing accounts.
  • Orchestrate global teams to gather information, collaborate on performance markers, and identify potential risks in customer accounts.
  • Provide account thought leadership and technical guidance to internal teams.
  • Create connections and feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Lead analysis of overall customer situation for complex accounts and advise on gaps that would benefit from Microsoft solutions.
  • Develop and drive opportunities based on industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain an opportunity initiation and map Microsoft priorities to opportunities.
  • Act as the customer's Technology Mentor and develop extended relationships with senior leaders.
  • Contribute to the creation of stakeholder maps for accounts and build out an execution framework.
  • Lead customer technology engagement and deliver regular industry/technology engagements to drive execution.
