Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the company's business development and sales plan for the US and Canadian regions. Requirements

  • Possess relevant academic training in administration, marketing or sales.
  • Have a minimum of ten to fifteen (10-15) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Be bilingual (oral and written). Given the diversity of our team and the need to communicate with local and international clients and partners, fluency in both Spanish and English, both oral and written, is required;
  • To be focused on success, customer service and achieving objectives.
  • Having a business mindset, knowing how to prioritize, and demonstrating agility.

  • Knowledge of Pipedrive (an asset).

Responsibilities

  • Develop business development strategies to support the company's growth.
  • Develop and implement action plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with current and future clients.
  • Participate in the preparation of submissions and the signing of contracts.
  • Promote the company's image by participating in various charitable and community activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong business-to-business relationships with our key clients in US and Canada or with a group of clients in order to achieve and exceed individual and team objectives in terms of revenue, volume and profitability for different customer segments, ports and products.
  • Lead and manage all regional business development and marketing activities, as well as relationships with our supply chain partners and stakeholders in US and Canada.
  • Oversee all aspects of the customer relationship, including the strategic development of sales opportunities, as well as tactical matters such as forecasting, invoicing, and customer service.
  • Update and maintain all sales pipeline activities in the company's CRM system and submit monthly and ad hoc reports on sales activities in the region to management.
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily in North America.
