About The Position

As a Strategic Account Manager (IC3) at Nova Credit, you'll lead the complete lifecycle success of key strategic enterprise customers. You'll develop new business opportunities while growing and deepening relationships with our Consumer Lending clients—including leading fintechs, credit card issuers and other agile consumer lenders across North America. Taking a highly consultative approach, you'll build deep, trust-based relationships across your portfolio. We're seeking a seasoned individual contributor who can own and accelerate rapid revenue growth through new logo acquisition and expansion within existing customer accounts. NYC-preferred: This is a full-time hybrid role (3 days per week in office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) based in the NYC Metropolitan area, reporting to our Head of Consumer Lending, with travel to client sites required ~25% of the time. Candidates based in NYC are preferred, however, we welcome candidates willing to relocate to the New York City Metropolitan Area to apply— we provide relocation support to make your move smooth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or similar role in customer-facing positions, with exposure to consumer lending, fintech, or financial services
  • Understanding of consumer lending dynamics including credit risk management, customer acquisition, and regulatory considerations for non-bank lenders
  • Experience with account management and growth initiatives, with some exposure to business development or sales activities
  • Strong relationship-building skills with ability to establish trust with fintech and issuer stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with ability to use data to identify opportunities and support decision-making
  • Collaborative approach with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
  • Growth-oriented mindset with interest in learning business development skills and contributing to new business acquisition

Responsibilities

  • Understand Nova Credit's value proposition specifically for consumer lenders, business model, and products
  • Meet your consumer lending customers and begin developing account plans focused on growth and optimization strategies
  • Learn about the consumer lending market landscape and identify potential new business opportunities
  • Develop proficiency with Credit Passport and Cash Atlas products, focusing on consumer lending use cases and optimization opportunities
  • Establish relationships and conduct regular business reviews with key stakeholders at fintech and issuer organizations
  • Support business development efforts by conducting market research and assisting with prospect qualification
  • Handle customer issues and work cross-functionally to resolve technical and business challenges
  • Use data analytics to understand customer usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities
  • Deliver revenue growth targets through account expansion and support of new business development initiatives
  • Identify and qualify expansion opportunities including up-sells and cross-sells tailored to consumer lenders
  • Contribute to new business development by supporting prospect meetings and helping advance opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Provide customer feedback to inform product roadmap priorities for consumer lending use cases
  • Develop expertise in consumer lending market dynamics and competitive landscape
