About The Position

The position is responsible for managing multi-business unit sales from opportunity to order within select named accounts in the State & Local Government and Education (SLED) segment. The ideal candidate will develop trusted advisor relationships with senior public sector executives and align Schneider Electric's offerings with customer needs, navigating the public sector procurement process effectively.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in sales
  • Preferred experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries
  • Preferred experience with low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies
  • Advanced experience in Solution Selling, Outcome Based Selling, Customer-Centric Selling
  • Advanced experience selling through distribution and to trade professionals with emphasis on C-Suite executive relationship building
  • Strong ability to understand complex requirements, clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions and close a deal
  • People management experience with a coaching and collaborative team-oriented leadership style
  • Proven track record in growing key account business

Responsibilities

  • Originate, shape, qualify, and win complex deals
  • Lead the OneSchneider account team and maintain timely and accurate CRM hygiene
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse group of senior leaders
  • Reflect the Voice of the Customer to inform internal planning
