The Strategic Account Executive role at Scale AI is a pivotal position that reports directly to the Director of Go-To-Market (GTM) for Generative AI. This role is primarily focused on expanding Scale's market share within the Generative AI vertical, which involves selling to organizations that are developing foundational models such as Llama2, DALL-E 3, and GPT-4. The ideal customer profile includes AI labs like OpenAI, Cohere, and Stability AI, as well as enterprise B2B organizations that are integrating generative AI into their product offerings, including major players like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Databricks. This position is highly technical and requires a profound understanding of AI and data, along with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for managing multi-threaded sales cycles that engage both technical and business audiences at the executive level. A key aspect of the role involves successfully penetrating new accounts while simultaneously nurturing and growing existing relationships. Collaboration is essential, as the Executive will work cross-functionally with various teams, including Executive Leadership, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Compliance, to ensure customer success and satisfaction. In this role, you will closely collaborate with the Director of Strategic Accounts to shape the overall GTM and revenue strategy for your assigned accounts. You will be tasked with driving revenue consumption and informing growth strategies for your named accounts. A solution-oriented approach is crucial, as you will need to create value for customers and orchestrate efforts across teams to maximize the impact on your business portfolio. Building strong relationships and ensuring high client satisfaction will be paramount, as evidenced by continued partnerships and growth in account value.
