About The Position
CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) is a rapidly growing freight forwarding start-up within Wayfair, moving containers across the globe to Wayfair's shelves and elsewhere. We offer a full suite of shipping services (Asia consolidation, ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, etc.) that aims to provide Wayfair suppliers with predictable, reliable, and competitive Freight Forwarding solutions. As a Senior Freight Associate, you will be a key driver of new business opportunities for CGF by identifying and cultivating relationships with potential suppliers. You will manage the entire sales cycle from initial opportunity through to closed contract, ensuring the supplier's needs are met and the solution is successfully implemented. We are looking for a highly motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment while actively seeking out new opportunities. Your goal will be to acquire new suppliers, increase profitable volume with CGF while driving high levels of supplier satisfaction.
