About The Position

We are looking for a sophisticated, high-energy Strategic Account Executive to join our Financial Services vertical. This is a unique role combining New Business Development (Hunter) and Strategic Account Management (Farmer). You will be responsible for breaking into new "Tier 1" financial institutions while simultaneously identifying and closing expansion opportunities within a hand-picked portfolio of existing marquee accounts.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Enterprise B2B sales, specifically selling into the Financial Services sector (Banking, FinTech, Insurance, or Capital Markets).
  • Proven Track Record: Consistent history of meeting or exceeding $1M+ annual quotas and closing six-figure or seven-figure deals.
  • Sales Methodology: Proficiency in a structured sales framework (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler).
  • Financial Literacy: Ability to speak the language of Finance—understanding P&L impact, ROI modeling, and the regulatory landscape (GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (approx. 25%).

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Own the entire sales process from initial prospecting and discovery to contract negotiation and closing for new logos.
  • Account Expansion: Develop and execute strategic account plans for existing clients to drive upsell and cross-sell revenue, ensuring our solution is deeply embedded in their infrastructure.
  • Vertical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on FinTech trends, regulatory changes, and the digital transformation needs of banks, asset managers, and insurance firms.
  • Multi-Threaded Outreach: Build and maintain relationships across multiple business units (e.g., Risk, IT, Operations, and Digital Product) and levels (Director to C-Suite).
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales Engineering and Product teams to customize solutions that meet the rigorous security and compliance standards of the financial industry.
  • Forecasting: Maintain a high level of CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and provide accurate quarterly revenue forecasts.
