About The Position

The Strategic Account Director is responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding relationships within existing enterprise accounts that span multiple lines of business. This role serves as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, identifying strategic opportunities to deepen value and broaden Higher Logic's footprint across departments and divisions. The Strategic Account Director operates with significant autonomy and accountability, applying deep industry knowledge and executive presence to build long-term, high-impact partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to key decision-makers and stakeholders in assigned enterprise accounts, driving cross-sell and up-sell initiatives across business units.
  • Develop and execute account expansion plans tailored to the unique structure, goals, and challenges of each client organization.
  • Establish trusted, advisory relationships with C-level and senior executives, articulating Higher Logic's value proposition in the context of the customer's strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs and influence the customer roadmap.
  • Lead the orchestration of complex sales cycles, including multi-stakeholder negotiations, executive presentations, and contract development.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about Higher Logic's solutions and the broader market landscape to anticipate client needs and provide thought leadership.
  • Consistently meet or exceed growth targets for assigned accounts.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and maintain detailed documentation of pipeline activity and customer engagements.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with Higher Logic policies and procedures.
