About The Position

As our new Strategic Account Development Manager, Resins, you’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and commercializing new accounts in North America. With a true hunter mentality, you’ll drive business growth by developing new and advancing existing customer relationships in the liquid resin space, aligning customer needs with Scott Bader’s world-class capabilities. This is a key role within our Commercial team, where you’ll execute our regional strategy by building and maintaining a robust sales funnel across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Central America. Working cross-functionally within a global, matrixed structure, you’ll bring energy, market expertise, and a proven ability to close opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven technical sales experience (7–10 years) in polyester & vinyl ester resins with a strong track record of success.
  • Established customer contacts within CIPP, rebar, automotive, swimming pool, or underground tank markets.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and consultative skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and deliver new sales opportunities across markets and applications.
  • Research sub-market opportunities and collaborate with global and regional teams.
  • Leverage industry events, networks, and data to capture new business.
  • Develop and execute a clear strategy to secure new customers using value-based selling.
  • Provide regular reports, forecasts, and insights to ensure strategic alignment.
