About The Position
The goal of this position is to ensure all loads are strapped and tarped to safety regulations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above-listed position. Straps loads to flat bed trailers. Tarps loads to flat bed trailers. Timely and regular attendance according to the scheduled shift as determined by supervisory personnel. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Pass required drug/alcohol test Able to handle equipment including chains, straps, tarps, tiedowns, etc. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Seeing and hearing: Read documents, computer screen answer phones, 50-74 % communicate in person. Standing and walking. 75-100 % Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling. 75-100 % Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, and writing. 0-24 % Lift in excess of 125 pounds. 75-100 %
Requirements
