About The Position
Process steel flame cut plates with a CNC burning machine / track torch. Following all safety protocols, while producing quality products that meet customer specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ability to read prints
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to operate hand torches
- Operate hand tools, grinders, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Welding / torch experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Layout and trace machine on material
- Square torches to material and cut plate
- Confirm plate meets dimensional requirements
- Fill out and record all inspections forms and record in ERP system
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Operate overhead cranes
- Operate forklifts
- All duties of General Labor/Operator A as assigned
- Process steel flame cut parts with portable track burning machine
- Read job order/prints for layout
- Layout dimensions on material per customer specification
