About The Position

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store including training and developing effective store team members to achieve desired sales and EBITDA results. Responsible for the coaching and development of all store team members. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school degree or equivalent.
  • Effective communication and reading skills.
  • Successfully completed the applicable Division's Leadership Training Program.
  • 3 years of experience and satisfactory performance appraisals as an assistant store leader or in another position within the same pay level or above.
  • Must be 21 years old.

  • Experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader.
  • 3+ years of retail experience.
  • Financial responsibility, including budget preparation and management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Train and develop effective store team members.
  • Coach and develop all store team members.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values.
  • Achieve a satisfactory level of technical and professional skills or knowledge in position or related areas.
  • Lead store teams in the planning, implementation and execution of merchandising and operation initiatives.
  • Work with store assistant leaders, shift leads, and team members to identify opportunities in the store.
  • Develop timely solutions and create action plans to ensure implementation.
  • Achieve or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets.
  • Drive cost effective sales working with store assistants and shift leads.
  • Discuss store-level financial performance with store assistants and shift leads.
  • Understand and react to the competitive landscape within the district and store.
  • Demonstrate inclusionary leadership and expect inclusive behavior from team members.
  • Utilize division associates to enable store to achieve financial goals.
  • Promote and support strong relationships with local community organizations.
  • Communicate all necessary information to store team members.
  • Maintain responsibility for store staffing, retention, and reducing turnover.
  • Provide timely feedback to store team members on individual and store performance.
  • Manage labor and supply costs on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and division policies.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports on the performance of their duties.
  • Complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
