About The Position

We are seeking storytellers for a YouTube channel based in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have compelling real-life experiences to share, particularly those who have faced challenges such as homelessness or housing issues. The ideal candidates will be able to convey their stories on camera, engaging an audience with their narratives. While no prior experience is necessary, the ability to tell a captivating story is essential. This role is particularly suited for individuals who have lived through significant life events, especially those who grew up in the 40s, 50s, 60s, or 70s, and can share their unique perspectives on life during those times. The compensation for this position is based on viewership, meaning that if you are skilled at storytelling and can attract an audience, your earnings could be unlimited. We are particularly interested in stories about life in the North, and we welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including self-employed individuals, ex-cons, travelers, veterans (especially older veterans), and those with odd jobs. If you have pictures to accompany your stories, that would be a significant advantage. This is a slow, long-term project that requires about 1-2 hours of your time each month, but the schedule is flexible to accommodate your availability. We are looking for individuals who can share their life experiences authentically and who have a knack for storytelling.
