About The Position

The Stormwater Maintenance Laborer position at Torrent Resources involves performing essential tasks related to the cleaning and maintenance of stormwater structures and systems. This role requires physical labor and adherence to safety protocols while working under the supervision of the Field Operations Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and the ability to operate a company vehicle
• The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to consistently adhere to them to ensure a safe working environment
• Proven track record of punctuality, reliability, and consistent work performance
• Ascending or descending ladders up to 30' deep
• Balancing, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, and walking carrying support equipment
• Standing next to and entering drywells, catch basins and stormwater manholes that can be 5' deep or deeper
• Working near vehicle and heavy equipment traffic
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs periodically throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all daily tasks are completed in a safe manner
• Removing trash, leaves, sediment, and other debris from stormwater drainage systems
• Collaboration with other team members to accomplish daily tasks
• Understanding and following all Confined Space Entry protocols
• Performing daily vehicle inspections
• Assisting in daily work documentation
• Performing system repairs as necessary
• Other duties as needed
