About The Position
This position manages the design, review, and construction of stormwater infrastructure, engineering improvement projects, and infrastructure asset inventory, and maintains updates to City Standards/Policies and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The role involves supervising, directing, and evaluating assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals; recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and appointing staff. Additionally, the position coordinates, assigns, and reviews work, establishes work schedules, maintains standards, monitors the status of work in progress, inspects completed work assignments, and provides advice and direction as needed.
