Verdantas is seeking a driven Environmental Scientist Intern for Summer 2026 at our San Ramon, CA location. This internship offers hands-on exposure to projects that make a tangible impact, along with mentorship from a collaborative team that values innovation and curiosity. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to independently seek answers to questions
  • Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members
  • Valid driver's license
  • A positive attitude and desire to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant internship, co-op, and/or classwork experience
  • Experience in ArcMap/ArcGIS
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Field work and administrative support for both stormwater and construction teams
  • Assisting with site visits
  • Observe and assist in simple soil, groundwater, or soil vapor sampling projects
  • Researching, collecting, and entering data
  • Playing a key role in delivering an above-and-beyond experience for our clients
