As the Project Manager for rapid response and restoration projects within Agostino Utilities, your primary role is to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects aimed at restoring power quickly and effectively during emergencies, storms, and other adverse events. You will play a crucial role in coordinating resources, managing risks, and ensuring the timely completion of projects to support operational resilience and customer satisfaction. Roles and Responsibilities: Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans for rapid response and restoration projects, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives with customer needs and regulatory requirements. Establish clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms to facilitate effective project coordination and stakeholder engagement. Build and maintain subcontractor relationships and manage all logistics and operations of subcontractor partners. Resource Management: Identify and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support rapid response and restoration activities. Coordinate with operational teams and external contractors to ensure timely availability of resources and adherence to response timelines. Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed to optimize response performance and efficiency. Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and protocols for rapid deployment of resources during power outages, storms, and other emergencies. Conduct regular drills and simulations to test emergency response procedures and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with emergency management agencies and other utility companies to coordinate response efforts and share best practices. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical, operational, and safety risks, to minimize disruptions and ensure timely responses and efficient crews. Develop contingency plans and response strategies to address potential issues and emergencies during job execution. Monitor and track risks throughout the storm lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as necessary to manage emerging risks. Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards and metrics for storm deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to assess crew performance and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes. Implement corrective actions and preventative measures to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Must have the ability to work outside business hours; including nights, weekends, and Holidays as needed.
