We are seeking a Storeroom Specialist for our First Quality Tissue location in Lock Haven, PA. This position will be a 12 hour night shift.

  • Ability and willingness to climb steps and use a ladder.
  • Ability and willingness to operate a forklift and large flatbed truck.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and adheres to all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Conducts daily cycle count inventory to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Processes data entry of all inventory counts on the day performed.
  • Enters all maintenance and operations issue and credit transactions into inventory management system (EAM) for all parts, equipment, materials and supplies daily.
  • Provide prompt customer service to the maintenance & operations teams by locating and issuing all requirements needed to maintain the continuous operation of the facility.
  • General understanding and knowledge of inventory management processes.
  • Unpacks, inspects and receives delivered suppliers, materials and equipment; confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of description, quantity, condition, manufacture, etc.
  • Completes all necessary documentation and data entry functions into the FQ Inventory management system (EAM) for stock material and the (SAP) system for non-stock purchases.
  • Places all First Quality stores stock material into the appropriate location.
  • Contacts and advises the appropriate individuals for all non-stock material receipts.
  • Maintains and files all receiving documentation by day of receipt.
  • As needed safely relocates, organizes and updates inventory management system (EAM) to better facilitate additional stocking quantities of parts, equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Properly identify and label all stock storeroom material with First Quality material number, bin location and date received for readily accessible means.
  • Communicate parts requirements and concerns of the maintenance crew to the Storeroom manager.
  • Delivers kitted parts, equipment, materials and supplies to designated maintenance and operations areas.
  • Organizes and maintains storeroom areas for safe & efficient material storage and handling; maintains identification on each stock item; manually replenishes inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.
  • Performs related duties as required.
  • Understands and follows GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines when applicable.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean work environment by performing housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely handle materials being received, issued, stocked and picked as needed.
