About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time STOREROOM/DELIVERY position at Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The position involves receiving storage and inventory for all departmental supplies and foodstuffs, along with maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The role requires one year of experience in receiving and driving a box truck.

Requirements

• One year of experience in receiving and driving a box truck is required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inventories and maintains necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Stores food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines.
• Maintains records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items.
• Dates, labels, and rotates stock according to procedures.
• Orders food and supplies based upon product specification.
• Secures designated areas of potential theft, dangerous chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Transports food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles.
• Follows HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance or repairs of equipment used.
• Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies.
• Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
