This role will play a key factor in the success of the maintenance operations and overall success of the mill. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required, Associate degree or above preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in an industrial storeroom/warehouse setting including experience in purchasing and inventory management is preferred
  • Very strong computer skills including working knowledge of JD Edwards or similar ERP software, iMaint or similar CMMS software, and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to work with a diverse internal customer group.
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in continuous improvement of the inventory management process.
  • Generate Purchase Orders in JD Edwards (JDE), and ensure receivers are posted against them accurately.
  • Physically receive supplies, parts, and equipment; enter receivers into JDE.
  • Ensure all items are physically stored in the correct, labeled locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all storeroom inventories in JDE using cycle counts and annual inventory counts.
  • Resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and the records in JDE.
  • Organize inventory and monitor levels on a regular basis using JDE reporting.
  • Assist the maintenance team with researching parts needed for stocked parts rebuilds, outages, and other projects.
  • Utilize iMaint software to build Bills of Materials (BOM’s) and update equipment information.
  • Track items sent out for external repair.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to order effectively and minimize on hand inventory.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the storeroom and storage areas.
  • Sort and distribute incoming deliveries daily.
  • Resolve shipping errors and late deliveries with suppliers.
  • Assist with receiving chemicals.
  • File storeroom paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.
