About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Up to one-year experience preferred
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to read and write to complete required forms
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays
Works overtime when required
Arrives to work on-time
Must comply with company policies
Must be able to use moving equipment
Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift
May work in a cold room of 40 degrees or less for extended periods of time
Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours

Responsibilities

Performs receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors
Inspects incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness and shelf life
Moves product (use moving equipment – forklift, pallet jack), stock, FIFO freezer, cold room and dry goods
Maintains inventory warehouse locations in a clean and organized manner
Conducts inventory counts and count sheets
Pull production requisitions (MRP or ER) as need it
Follows directions
Works as a member of a team
Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management
Completes paperwork and related administrative duties
Handles pork, poultry, meat and fish products
Must be able to handle liquor/alcoholic beverages
