About The Position

The Storeroom Clerk performs a variety of activities related to receiving and stocking supplies, delivers inside and outside hospital promotes excellent customer relation. This position maintains organized and clean coolers, freezers, stockroom and alerts operational manager of out of stock items. Rotates stock first in first out.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
SerSafe Certification preferred
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
This is a safety sensitive position.
Must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record.
Verbal skills necessary to relate with delivery personnel.
Stands, walks, stoops, reaches, lifts heavy to moderate items, carries, pushes and pulls at least 90% of the day.
Math skills are required.
Legible hand writing for reports and orders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

One-year experience in stocking, warehousing, and receiving preferred. Cooking experience preferred as well as direct issues foods to productions areas
2 years’ warehouse experience a plus
1 year working in a commercial kitchen area
1-year delivery experience
Culinary training and nutritional knowledge
Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and meal tracking
Knowledge in food safety and sanitation standards a plus.
