About The Position

It is the responsibility of the Warehouse Attendant to stock and maintain all food, beverage and non-food items stored in the Food and Beverage Storeroom and Main Street warehouse; fill and deliver move orders for all outlets within The Golden Nugget. Deliver products received, such as forms, office products, beverages and miscellaneous supplies to the Golden Nugget departments. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Requirements

  • One year minimum prior experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving.
  • Must possess valid Nevada driver's license for operation of trucks.
  • Must have experience working with Computer and its applications.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • Must be able to steer loaded cart or pallet jack through hallways, up ramps, and on uneven surfaces.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to; add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Fill move orders for all departments within the hotel from a worksheet.
  • Stock inventory following (FIFO) First In First Out standards.
  • Unload trucks coming into warehouse; check items and stock them in their proper location.
  • Drive to and from the offsite warehouse to load and unload orders; pick up items from the hotel to be brought back and stored at the warehouse. Properly stock records boxes.
  • Rearrange stock in new and old locations and change in computer, if needed.
  • Take temperature readings of all storeroom refrigeration and freezers, report any malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested and assist as needed at offsite Main Street Warehouse.
  • Deliver products brought in by vendors, United Parcel Service, FedEx to various outlets and obtain signature for such.
  • Record information on receiving logs, purchase orders, and or scan tracking numbers into package tracking system.
  • Process non-food purchase order receivers into Oracle daily, forward to Accounts Payable.
  • Insure that all equipment and or products are locked away or secured within the F&B Storeroom at the end of the day, charge equipment and fill out daily lockdown checklist.
  • Receive in products compared against purchase order to insure correct specifications and quantities are received.
  • Inspect vehicles and lifting equipment before using; check for wear to tires, check gauges, check that equipment / vehicle is in good working order.
  • Fill out operator’s check list and turn into supervisor, report any safety concerns immediately to supervisor and tag out equipment / vehicle.
  • Notify manager or supervisor of low inventory pars of F&B, and General Warehouse supplies held in inventory.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
