About The Position

The Relief Storeroom and Receiving Attendant will be responsible for properly receiving, storing and issuing of all food and beverage, non-perishable and Birchstreet items. This position will consist of one Saturday morning/afternoon shift per week and occasionally scheduled in cases where the regular Storeroom and Receiving Attendant is not able to work due to vacation, personal time off (PTO), leave of absence, emergency and/or other contractually or statutorily mandated time off.

Requirements

  • Must be flexible and able to work am and pm shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Computer and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Basic math is required.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate to heavy weight.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, and stock/store it.
  • Logs all packages received daily in Birchstreet.
  • Strictly adheres to the operating hours of the storerooms.
  • Checks requisitions for proper authorization.
  • To follow/adhere to Omni Hotels operating procedures and local health regulations.
  • Ability to operate hand truck, lift-jack and dolly.
  • Start a list for out of stocks/goods and not received "items" so that follow-up can be made.
  • Verify that no requisitions are left open (all requisitions should be completed and closed out).
  • Assist in end-of-month inventories.
  • Check and lock all coolers/storeroom doors before departure at end-of-day.
  • Other duties as assigned by management
